The Rams came into Sunday’s game as 8 point underdogs and tons of local media noise about they had no chance again the Arizona Cardinals, who in recent years have been extremely tough to beat at home. Welp, once again it didn’t faze them.

The big question was who is going to step up on the offensive side of the ball and make plays. Tayvon? Gurley? Britt? Nope….it was the much doubted and high criticized Brian Quick who struck pay dirt first with a 65 Yard Td pass from Keenum, his second straight week with a long touchdown reception (Last week he broke the TD drought with a 44 Yard TD grab).

The Defense went to work from there. Putting pressure on Carson Palmer all day, forcing a total of 5 turnovers. However, the Rams found themselves down with just under 5 minutes to play. After a few clutch defensive stops, Tayvon Austin Broke a huge punt return to set up the offense in Arizona territory. A few plays later on 2nd and goal from the 4, Keenum hit none other than Brian Quick for his 2nd catch of the game, both resulting in TD’s.

Quick hasn’t had huge numbers when it comes to catches but he has sure stepped up and made big plays when the Rams have needed them. With tons of question about who would step into the 3rd WR position, Quick sure has done his part to earn that position. Let see if he can continue his success this week when the Rams return home to face the 2-2 Bills.
