That’s right free! Normally that comes with a catch, right? Nope not this time, this time it comes with a tackle. As in the LA Rams are putting on a free shoulder tackling clinic at Inglewood high school this weekend, Saturday July 9th from 10am-noon. All high school and youth coaches, parents and players are invited to attend.
The camp will feature Rams Special Teams Coordinator John Fassel and Defensive Quality Control Jeff Imamura in association with Sea-Hawks coach Rocky Seto. Yes, we are letting a Sea-Hawk coach grace our presence down here in LA. Rocky Seto is know in the league for teaching proper technique for tackling safely. Derived and inspired by how rugby players tackle overseas Seto has implemented those fundamentals in today game in which the NFL has made it a point to make the game safer for its players.
The camp is also teaming up with The NFL Network and a few un-named Rams/ Sea-hawks players. Along side “Athletes in Action” their focus is improving the game of Football making it safer, while preserving the physicality of the game.
