We’ve all seen Russell Wilson storm down the field in the 4th quarter and win the ball game on the last drive of the game. Then Alec Ogletree came up with the play of the game. You could feel the sigh of relief of 90,000+ fans when he poked the ball free from Christian Michael and jumped on the ball to seal the 9-3 win for the Rams.
Rams dodged a bullet on Sunday and found themselves in the win column for the first time this year. It’s crazy to think of a week 2 game as a must-win game but it sure did have that feel. The 91,046 fans in attendance sure did their part when the team needed them, Los Angeles held the Seahawks to 31% (4-of-13) on third-down efficiency. “We need that,” middle linebacker Alec Ogletree said. “We got them to do a couple false starts and I know it was loud in there and it was hard for them to hear, so we definitely appreciate that.”
Now we find ourselves sitting 1-1 and heading out across the country to face the 1-1 Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With tons of questions still to be answered on Offense, LA has tons of work to do on offense but at least we are treading in the right direction.
