IRVINE, CA – Veteran Defensive Lineman Quinton Coples was released Monday by the Los Angeles Rams who have starting narrowing down their roster from 90 – 75 players. James and Bear will be discussing this tomorrow after Hard Knocks Airs.

Quinton was a first – round pick by the NY Jets in 2012 and was making the transition from DE to DT during Rams Training Camp. After his first two pre-season games, Coples had four tackles, forced two fumbles and recorded one sack.

Coples played a little over three seasons with the Jets and about a half a season with the Dolphins, compiling 16 and a half career sacks.
