Jared Goff, the Los Angeles Rams’ presumed No. 1 pick in next week’s NFL draft, has wrapped up his visit with the team in the L.A. area..

Goff (the California QB) and fellow quarterback prospect Carson Wentz (North Dakota State) have been in town this week to meet with coaches, while also doing some fancy LA Dining.

The Rams acquired the No. 1 overall selection from the Tennessee Titans in a blockbuster trade last Thursday, have been leaning toward using the pick on Goff, according to ESPN, but wanted to meet with both QBs and debate the decision before making a choice.
Tennessee sent the top selection, along with its fourth- (No. 113) and sixth-round (No. 177) picks this year, to the Rams in exchange for Los Angeles’ first-round pick (No. 15), two second-round selections (Nos. 43 and 45) and a third-round pick (No. 76) in 2016. The Titans will also get the Rams’ first- and third-round picks in 2017.

According to a team source, earlier this week – one reason the Rams made this deal now is to give the team “two weeks to debate between Goff and Wentz. You can make a convincing case for both. Both are going to be good.”
